Kieran Bayliffe-Beirne, new landlord of The Devonshire Arms, made the first two draws at the launch of our 2021/2 lottery. Our September winning number, 49, is held by Alice Manifold, now residing at Matlock but she was brought up at The Devonshire Arms when her parents ran the pub in the 1950s. Our October winning number, 106, is held by one of our newest residents, Lucy Abbott of Minton House, Hartington. We have a record 108 subscribers and our Trustees wish to thank all those who have supported the Village Hall refurbishment programme. The next draw takes place on 10th November for a prize of £100 while the bumper prize of £500 will be drawn on 8th December.
