In view of forecasts for rain plus low temperatures we will now, as was the case in 2012, hold our Jubilee Picnic in the Village Hall. For those who are convinced that a picnic must take place outside we will have a couple of gazebos on the grass to the side of the Hall. At 4.00 the winner of the Scarecrow competition will be announced and Jubilee puds will be served up. Three hours of music through 7 decades in the company of family, friends and neighbours. Toasted marshmallows – what more can one want?
