Keeping Yourself and Others Safe

Calling all community groups in the Derbyshire Dales – we have an excellent training opportunity for you this Spring!
A safeguarding awareness session with Adrian Moore from Hive Training Solutions.
Adrian will give a broad overview of safeguarding for volunteers running a small community group, covering: –
- What is safeguarding?
- Understanding your responsibility.
- Knowing what to do if you have concerns.
We will also look at case studies and, briefly, at the role of the designated safeguarding lead.
It will be an interactive session – not just PowerPoint!
You will receive a certificate of participation.
There are 20 places available on the training.

Cost of £10 for Members of Derbyshire Dales CVS and £20 for non-members.
The venue is the Conference Room at the Agricultural Business Centre in Bakewell, DE45 1AH.
This has level access, with accessible toilets, FREE parking very close to the venue (you will receive a pass for the day). It is also close to the A6 for those travelling by bus.
