Hartington Farm shop and cafe won the Englands Business Awards for Best Cafe in Derbyshire.
We would like to thank all of our customers for nominating us and voting, the support and kindness has been overwhelming and to our fabulous team for their hard work and fantastic customer service. It’s such a great way to feel that all the hard work that we all put in is being appreciated and recognised.
Our Cafe was entered into the Englands Business Awards by the general public nominating us, we then applied to be entered into the competition so then customers could vote for us online and give us comments on why we should be entered, We then had a mystery shop customer from the Business Awards team to judge their experience of our cafe.
A few weeks later we had a letter to say that we was a finalist!
We feel very proud and honoured to be nominated, it’s such a great achievement to be a finalist whether we win or not but we decided to keep on going and attend the awards evening at the Grand Leicester Hotel. It was a fantastic evening and a very proud moment for us as a team and family as we were called on to the stage as winners !!
We also picked up the Best Consumer award at the end of the evening this was for the most comments entered as well as most votes out of all the businesses in Derbyshire.
We now go on to represent our county at the national awards in November which is very exciting and we will post some more information on this soon.
