Derbyshire Constabulary are promoting the Derbyshire Alert Community Messaging System (see web links for details). You can register for Derbyshire Alert to receive emails about what’s happening in your local area.
These messages are sent by the police, Neighbourhood Watch and other organisations dedicated to community safety. You can even feed back information to local police teams.
The service is free, and tailored so you can choose what sort of alerts to receive – whether you’d like:
- news on local incidents
- community news
- crime prevention advice
- significant or high priority messages
