Hartington Village Hall Emergency General Meeting: Thursday 4th January 6.00 p.m.
You will have read in the last edition of News and Views that we urgently need your support to keep our Village Hall running.
Hartington Village Hall is a registered charity managed on behalf of the community by a small number of Trustees and Committee Members.
The three present Trustees and Committee members wish to step down and we urgently need new people to help with the role of running the Hall.
There have been two well attended meetings, led by the Parish Council, of people who use the Hall and at these a number of individuals have already indicated a willingness to serve as Trustees, Committee members or as volunteers in various roles.
Now we must call an EGM to formalise how we move forward.
Please attend to hear the current position and if possible, to lend help in any number of ways.
Your Village Hall is at risk and unless the community gets behind it, we may have no Village Hall to enjoy in the future.
