As the UK begins its ‘meteorological spring’ on 1 March, organisations involved in caring for the Peak District are urging everyone to respect and take personal responsibility when enjoying the country’s original national park to help protect the area’s natural beauty.
The Peak District National Park Authority has today (25 February 2025) approved restructuring proposals that have been driven by a need to reduce costs.
People who live, work in and visit the Peak District National Park are being asked for their views on walking, cycling, riding, and wheeling (wheelchairs/trampers) routes in an online consultation.
