Getting delivery times is difficult at the moment, as is getting the items that you may usually order. Here are a couple of things that might help out those who cannot order online or who are having difficulty getting a delivery slot, taking all appropriate health and safety care.
If you are successful in getting a delivery slot and the supermarket makes “substitutions” that you no longer need check with neighbours to see whether they require those items before sending them back.
Rather than sending back items could they be accepted and then donated to the foodbank? – collections in the Village Hall and St Giles’ Church
If making an online order consider combining orders, obviously within the restrictions placed on items, with neighbours and particularly those who cannot access online ordering.
